Banda Misteriosa President Lança Primeiro Single Inédito Desde o EP de 2025

O próximo capítulo da saga da President chegou com o lançamento do novo single, "Angel Wings". A faixa é a primeira novidade dos roqueiros mascarados desde a estreia marcante da banda com o EP King of Terrors, e agora você pode assistir ao novo videoclipe e conferir a letra completa.

A President definitivamente deixou sua marca em 2025, utilizando uma forte campanha nas redes sociais e muita dose de mistério para conquistar uma base fiel de fãs com o EP King of Terrors. Agora, dando um novo passo musical, a banda apresenta "Angel Wings".

"'Angel Wings' reflete uma busca por redenção espiritual e a determinação de recomeçar", afirma a banda. "Marca a abertura de um novo capítulo. No fundo, a música fala sobre manter por perto quem realmente importa, enquanto permanecemos inabaláveis diante dos detratores."

Em entrevista à Kerrang! no último outono, Mr. President declarou: "Quero contar mais da história do President como personagem. Ele terá uma trajetória separada da minha, mas nossas histórias estão entrelaçadas. Tenho interesse em revelar a origem do President e estamos buscando formas de contar essas histórias, mas é tudo o que posso dizer por enquanto."

Can I hide under your angel wings?

Os fãs já estavam atentos a novidades há cerca de uma semana, quando a banda divulgou o primeiro teaser sugerindo o lançamento de "Angel Wings". O breve vídeo mostrava um trecho do clipe, mas não revelava nada da nova música. Na prévia, uma criança aparece dentro de um castelo escuro e espaçoso, em um cômodo onde espalhou vários desenhos pelo chão.

No canto da tela, parece que uma figura alada passa voando pela janela, que é a única fonte de luz do ambiente, e os desenhos do garoto parecem refletir essa presença. Enquanto isso, ao espiar por uma fechadura, vemos o vocalista da President em um cômodo de paredes de pedra, voltando o olhar para a câmera.

"Meu Deus, por que me abandonaste?" diz uma legenda, que muitos acreditam ser parte da mensagem lírica da canção. A data de 18 de fevereiro foi anunciada para a chegada de "Angel Wings".

Após passar parte do final do ano passado e início deste ano em sua primeira turnê estendida ao lado do Architects, a President está atualmente em turnê como banda de apoio do Bad Omens, junto com o Beartooth.
